My Review

I’ve found Xerxes guide the be the best one from all the guides that I’ve read. Leveling guide is just amazingly well done and is very efficient. Could use a few more tweaks perhaps but considering other guides it’s miles ahead. Amazing number and quality of other guides as well. Professions, Warfronts, soul builds, instances, equipment and more. Definitely rated 10/10 which is a lot higher than any other guide currently available.

My Review

Catari’s Rift leveling guide is the counterpart to Kalmar’s guide, which you might have noticed already. Same author and same type of content. Even though the leveling guide is well done, it’s not entirely complete yet which is unfortunate. It covers only the Defiant faction, and also comes at a high price of $47.

If you do the math, you need to pay $94 for Cataris and Kalmars guide in order to have a leveling guide for both factions. Xerxes guide on the other hand offers the same at a bargain price of only $37, and has a truckload of really quality bonus guides. It’s really a no-brainer, but in the end it’s up to you.

My Review

KFGuides is indeed a quality guide in my opinion. The leveling guide is very efficient and will help you immensely. It’s easy to follow, and includes zone maps and occasional screenshots to guide you through.

However, in KFGuides you don’t get any additional bonuses and the leveling guide only covers one faction, the Defiants. As a comparison you get a leveling guide for both factions which is possibly even more detailed and efficient, plus a whole bunch of useful, quality bonus guides in Xerxes guide.

My Review

While it is true that Killerguides Rift Strategy Guide is a lot more detailed than some other strategy guides on the market, and a lot more helpful, it just isn’t enough to make me give it a better score. An actual leveling guide would go a long way to improve it, as would adding more detailed tips and advice about souls, soul builds, etc.

My Review

As a Guardian faction leveling guide Kalmar’s is a relatively okay guide. The leveling paths are easy to follow and do include some maps which will tell you where quests can be found. The reason why this guide got a rather high rating is because I was focusing on reviewing the leveling guide alone. If you want to get a full strategy guide for the game Kalmar’s will definitely not deliver as it doesn’t include anything else other than a leveling guide.

As a quick comparison, Xerxes strategy guide has a more detailed leveling guide for BOTH factions, and a great deal of additional extremely useful guides, and it costs $10 less. If for some reason you only want an overpriced Guardian leveling guide then I suppose you’ll be fine with Kalmar’s but I would advise against it, as Xerxes is so much better in all aspects.

My Review

Rift Blueprint needs a ton of work to be competitive among other available Rift leveling guides. This is supposed to be a strategy guide but it only has tips for beginner players, and even that isn’t of much use to most of them. It’s much worse than Xerxes guide which is still the best buy and is continuously updated.
